Pink and Green 2-Tier Baby Shower Cake

This is a two-tier baby shower cake with a banner and topper to match.  The banner design and topper were purchased by the customer in a digital format.  I offered to print and cut out the pieces with my cricut machine - saving her a lot of cutting time with scissors.  The cake is pink lemonade with vanilla cream filling and buttercream frosting.

Minnie Mouse Cake

Another birthday cake for little Presley!  This year was a Minnie Mouse theme.  This was a yellow cake with chocolate cream filling and buttercream frosting, and a topper to match.  Happy 2nd Birthday, sweet girl!

Black and White Wedding Cake "Biker Elegance"

This was a very fun, non-traditional wedding cake order.  The bride had an image of a cake she liked and asked if I could produce something similar.  She said the wedding would have kind of a "biker-elegance" feel. :o)  She requested the skull and crossbones, studded ribbon, and rhinestones incorporated into the cake design and fresh bright pink roses to finish it off.  She was very pleased with the cake!  The bottom and top tiers were white cake with vanilla cream filling, and the middle tier was white cake with coconut cream filling.  All was frosted with my buttercream frosting.

Flower Cupcakes

These aren't the greatest pictures - sorry.  Photo shoots late at night re not as good as those in natural daylight.  These flower cupcakes are to be served at a bridal shower with a chic garden party feel.  All the cupcakes are pink lemonade decorated with vanilla buttercream.

Lightning McQueen / Cars Cake

A chocolate baby cake with vanilla filling for a little guy who loves Lightning McQueen from the movie Cars.  Mom plans on topping this cake with a fun Cars candle she found at Party City.  Happy Birthday, Cohen!!

Two Tier Cake with a Cherry on Top!

A few cherries on top, actually!  Beautiful little baby, Ella Cherry, is turning one this weekend.  The bottom tier of this cake is cherry chip with vanilla cream filling, and the top tier was vanilla confetti cake with vanilla cream filling.  The cherries were freshly picked from my friends cherry tree, and the perfect shade of red for this cake with the simple red gingham ribbon around the base of each tier.  Happy Birthday, Sweet Ella!  Can't wait to see pictures!

30th Class Reunion Cake for Olympia High School

Class motto for Oly High Class of 1982 was True Blue '82.  They are having their 30th class reunion festivities this weekend, and I was asked to make a fun cake for tonight.  Both tiers are vanilla and chocolate marble cake with chocolate cream filling.

Basketball Cake

Customer request for a chocolate cake with vanilla cream filling for a 30th birthday party for a guy who "kind of likes basketball."  Not a lot of  input or inspiration for this one, and I didn't want to do an orange basketball cake - that just seemed a little too young for a 30th birthday.  So I looked up the birthday boy on facebook and could only see one picture - tickets for March Madness!  I guess he really likes basketball.  So I was inspired by the ticket's logo for the cake design and excited to get to decorating.  Here was the picture.
