This cake request was for a romantic-girly cake for a baby shower - inspired by the invitation shown above. The bottom tier is chocolate cake with raspberry-marshmallow swirl filling. The top tier is pink lemonade cake with vanilla cream filling. All frosted with my buttercream and adorned with fresh flowers.

I was so excited to try making a teapot for this order. As we all know, I don't use fondant in my creations. so I needed to figure out what I would do for the spout and handle. In the end I decided to just use cardstock to create those parts of the teapot. I think it turned out very cute. The bottom tier and top tier of this cake were pink lemonade with vanilla cream filling, the middle tier was raspberry-kissed chocolate cake with chocolate cream filling. I also made the birthday banner pictured. This order was made to match the party supplies pictured below. Thanks for another great request, Anne! And Happy 4th Birthday, Saffron!
A special little lady turned 5 this week and wanted a tie-dye cake for her party. This was simply a vanilla cake with vanilla cream filling. I also dyed the cake batter a few different colors and swirled them together a little bit, so when cut into the cake was just as colorful as the frosting. All is frosted, of course, with buttercream. Happy Birthday, Piper Lynn!!

I had a request for a two tier cake for a bridal shower featuring the napkin pictured. The customer also sent me the toppers to use for this cake. The bottom tier was pink lemonade cake with vanilla cream filling, and the top tier was a coconut cake with coconut cream filling.
My daughter turned 6 recently. She has been obsessed with birds for about a year so we, of course, did a bird themed party. I let her have a lot of input this year for her party since she's such a big girl now. She wanted tropical birds all over the house and a jungle-type cake with a waterfall and she wanted to put all her toy birds all over it. Sounded pretty easy to me, so that's what we did! This is a vanilla confetti cake with vanilla cream filling. The birds and flowers were not edible. :o) I also made these invitations for the party:

My sweet nephew and Godson, Don, turned one a couple weekends back. I made his birthday cake, invitations, and banners. It was a Huskies theme for the party (his Mama's kinda nuts like that). The bottom tier of the cake was chocolate cake with chocolate cream filling (if I remember correctly) and the top two tiers were vanilla cake with banana cream filling, which was soooo delicious. Happy Birthday, Baby Don!
