Bubbles and Chocolate Cake

 

Saffron chose a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting for her birthday this year - and she wanted bubbles on it...  Here it is!  I shaded each white circle with turquoise, lavender, and pink to mimic the swirls we see in bubbles.  The turned out very pretty and unfortunately my battery was dead in my nice camera!  So I snapped a few photos with my phone before sending it off to be eaten! The topper was covered in a clear glossy paint to make it shiny - hard to photograph that with my phone as well.

Monster Jam Birthday Cake

Josiah loves Monster Jam and needed a fun birthday cake!  This is a chocolate cake with marshmallow cream filling and buttercream frosting.  The dirt on top is crushed Oreo cookies.  Thanks for another order, Jessica!

Owl Baby Cake and Cupcake Display

 

Sweet Baby Vivienne turned one last month, and I got to make her treats!  Mom requested a baby cake and coordinating cupcakes with pink, turquoise, and maybe some green and yellow.... oh and maybe an owl.  :o)  Here is what I delivered!  All is pink lemonade flavored cake, the baby cake has a vanilla cream filling, and all is frosted with vanilla buttercream. 4th of July Cupcakes

These cute little cuppies doubled as a 4th of July dessert and for little Vivienne's 1st birthday celebration at her grandpa's house.  2 dozen were displayed on a cute little white stand.  I believe this was my orange creamsicle combination, orange confetti cake and vanilla buttercream.  Yum!

Parisian Birthday Cakes

 

 

A double birthday party for two sweet sisters.  The party had a Parisian theme, and mom went crazy with Eiffel towers everywhere.  It was adorable and was glad that I delivered the cakes so I could see all the cute details for myself.  I also made the banner to match.  Both cakes were two tiers with a cupcake and Eiffel Tower topper.  Cake flavors included Red Velvet with cream cheese filling, French Vanilla with lemon cream filling, and Pink Lemonade with vanilla cream filling.  The cupcakes on top were both French Vanilla.

Hobbit Hole Cake

My good friend ordered a cake for her classroom's end of the year party.  Her students had been reading the Hobbit and she thought it would be fun to use that theme for the cake.  The bottom cake is orange poppy seed with vanilla cream filling.  The top tier is orange cake with vanilla cream filling (orange creamsicle - YUM).  I added the seeds into the bottom cake because the story references seed cake a few times, so I thought that would be a fun detail for the kids.  Thanks for the order, Victoria!  You are such a thoughtful teacher!!

Dr. Suess Baby Shower Cake

A friend was hosting a Dr. Seuss themed baby shower and asked for a nice centerpiece cake.  The base is chocolate cake with vanilla cream filling and the hat is pink lemonade cake with vanilla cream filling.  Thanks for another order, Megan!

Elmo Baby Cake

This is a buttery yellow cake with maple cream filling.  The balloons are vanilla candies.  Austin was turning one and needed his own cake to dig into at his party.  Thanks for the order Megan!!

Music Birthday Cake

This customer requested a birthday cake for her 15 year old daughter who loves choir. This is a standard size raspberry cake with cream cheese filling.

Pirate Ship Cake

Cody wanted a Jake & The Neverland Pirates cake for his birthday.  Mom requested a pirate ship and she was going to add his little favorite toy characters at home.  This was a vanilla cake with raspberry jam filling.  There are also a few chocolate details.  Thanks for another order, Marta!
