Soccer Ball Cake

My first attempt at an ice cream cake!  I frosted and decorated it with the same yummy buttercream I use for my standard cakes and it turned out great.  The soccer ball tier is all cake and no ice cream.  Thank you for another order, Misty!

Giant Peanut Butter Cup Cake

I made this giant peanut butter cup cake for Dylan's 17th birthday.  It is, of course, chocolate cake filled with peanut butter frosting, and frosted with my yummy chocolate buttercream.

NASCAR Race Track Cake

Jake and the Neverland Pirate Ship Cake #2

Another order for a Jake and the Neverland Pirate Ship cake.  All of my cakes are unique so there are some differences between this one and the first one I created...  This was chocolate cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream (and some chocolate buttercream too, I think). I handcrafted the sails and crow's nest with cardstock.  The characters were all purchased by the customer.

Lighthouse Cake

This shaped cake was for a special lady at her 50th birthday celebration.  The topper was all handcrafted by me (but not edible). I love how it all turned out!

Hobbit Hole Cake

My good friend ordered a cake for her classroom's end of the year party.  Her students had been reading the Hobbit and she thought it would be fun to use that theme for the cake.  The bottom cake is orange poppy seed with vanilla cream filling.  The top tier is orange cake with vanilla cream filling (orange creamsicle - YUM).  I added the seeds into the bottom cake because the story references seed cake a few times, so I thought that would be a fun detail for the kids.  Thanks for the order, Victoria!  You are such a thoughtful teacher!!

Pirate Ship Cake

Cody wanted a Jake & The Neverland Pirates cake for his birthday.  Mom requested a pirate ship and she was going to add his little favorite toy characters at home.  This was a vanilla cake with raspberry jam filling.  There are also a few chocolate details.  Thanks for another order, Marta!

Two-Tier Football Cake for Evan

Evan turned 10 this year - welcome to double digits!!  He searched the internet and picked out his own cake design for me to make him this year.  This is how it turned out and I think he was pretty happy with it.  I saw him smile a little...  ;o)

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Cake

Who wouldn't love a giant peanut butter and jelly sandwich-cake for their birthday treat!?!  This was a yellow cake filled with peanut butter frosting and strawberry preserves.  The photo was "styled" and taken by my awesome customer, Anna Lisa!  Thanks for the picture and another fun order!

The little rock star requested a guitar shaped cake for her special birthday party!  The larger side of this custom carved cake was strawberry cake with vanilla cream filling, the handle was vanilla cake with vanilla cream filling.  I think I had another happy customer!
