Birch Tree Wedding Cake
There were so many cute details for this wedding and I was so excited to create a beautiful cake to add to the special event. The bride requested the birch tree bark finish on the wedding cake and mini cupcakes for her younger guests to embellish at the reception. It was a yellow cake with chocolate cream filling on the bottom tier and vanilla cream filling for the top tier. The mini cupcakes were yellow cake and chocolate cake with a simple vanilla buttercream swirl on top. Congratulations Julie and Mark, and thank you, Delfina, for the business!

Fall Pumpkin 1st Birthday Cake
My adorable niece, Khaleesi, turned one last month! I made her cake, invitations, and party banners. Such a fun month for a birthday because of all the beautiful autumn inspirations! The base of the cake was chocolate cake with vanilla cream filling and chocolate buttercream frosting. The top two tiers were delicious pumpkin spice cake with vanilla cream filling and vanilla buttercream frosting.

The Emerald City topper is made out of Rice Krispie Treats and the little figurines were provided by the customer (Hallmark keepsake ornaments). Nina's 1st Birthday Cake Trio
This cake trio was for my niece Nina's 1st birthday and made to match these invitations:
Here is the birthday girl ready to blow out her candle!
I also made the party hat, banner/bunting around her high chair (with custom designed paper by me), and also the dangling circles from the center of the photo below.

Multicolor Unfrosted Cake
This request was for the cake to have multicolored layers of cake with no frosting around the outer edges. It was vanilla cake with raspberry and buttercream filling in between. I also did the banner for the party. The customer shared her inspiration images below, and she was going to add some horses with a fence on the top. (The "cake" below was actually rice krispy treats, which my customer did not want.)

Candy Corn Cake
I made this cake earlier in the month as a donation for an auction item at Evergreen Christian. Since I waited too long to do this post, I can hardly remember what flavor it was! I'm pretty sure it was a butter pecan cake with vanilla cream filling and buttercream frosting. I hope it helped raise a little money for the school. :o)

Cars and Trucks 1st Birthday Cake
Henry turned one last week and his mama requested a 1st birthday cake with cars and trucks. Nothing specific, so this was what I came up with. I was pleased with the colors, as I'm not a huge fan of really bright primary colors for cakes. I like the red with the pastels to tone it down. This was a vanilla confetti cake with vanilla cream filling. Happy Birthday, Sweet Little Henry!
Birthday Cake for Grandpa
The request was simply for a birthday cake to celebrate a Grandfather's 75th birthday. No theme - just a party cake. This is a vanilla cake with pistachio cream filling and buttercream frosting. Candles were to be placed on top at the party. Thanks for another order, Anne!!

Rustic 4-Tier Wedding Cake
The first two pictures were onsite at the wedding, this last one was what it looked like as I delivered it to the florist. The flowers she added were so beautiful. There was a slight mishap with delivery so the front of the cake was actually turned into the back of the cake and the heart and initials were "carved" into the new front side and there were a few more flowers than originally planned. But everything worked out and it looked beautiful at the wedding. The 12 inch round bottom tier was vanilla cake with raspberry filling. The 10 inch tier above that was chocolate cake with vanilla cream filling, above that is an 8 inch tier that was carrot cake with cream cheese filling. The top tier is a pumpkin spice cake with apple cinnamon cream cheese filling. All was frosted with off-white buttercream. Lots of flavors for the guests to choose from! Nicole & Patrick - thank you for your order and congratulations on your beautiful day! Becky - thank you for saving the cake. :o)
