Cupcakes for a Unicorn Birthday
I made these dark chocolate cupcakes to coordinate with the unicorn party supplies pictured below. The party hostess created the toppers with a Cricut. They turned out very cute! Happy 4th Birthday, Sasha!

Hungry Caterpillar Cake, Banner, and Invitations
Yesterday I had the honor of co-hostessing a baby shower for my sister-in-law, Kora. She is expecting her first baby next month, and the gender will be a surprise. She chose the Hungry Caterpillar bed set from Pottery Barn Kids for the nursery, so we decided to use that theme for the baby shower as well. It was a lot of fun! The bottom tier of the cake was vanilla with pistachio cream filling. The top tier was yellow cake with chocolate cream filling. I also made a banner to match and the invitations to match. Both shown below.

Rapunzel Birthday Cake
Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let down your hair! I had a request for a birthday cake to go with a birthday party based on Disney's movie "Tangled." I think it turned out pretty cute. This is dark chocolate cake with vanilla cream filling - all frosted with buttercream. (The little banner in front is made from paper, though.) Happy 4th Birthday, Brooklyn!

Valentine's Cakes
Yum - Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. A cute little cake for a mommy to give her little boy on Valentine's Day. Happy Valentine's Day to all!
The next three little cakes were for my Valentine's here at home. They were also red velvet. The one frosted white was with vanilla-almond buttercream. The two for my kiddos were decorated with buttercream. I figured they could do without a full frosting job, they had plenty of sugar from other treats all day. :o)
18th Birthday Cake
This baby sized cake is simply yellow cake with vanilla buttercream and decorated with the birthday boy's high school colors - blue and gold. Go Warriors! :o) Happy 18th Birthday, Tyler.
Lightning McQueen - Cars Baby Cake
Lightning McQueen and Mater were placed on top of the cake at the Cars themed party. This orange-creamsicle baby cake helped Kayden celebrate his 3rd Birthday. KA-CHOW!
