4-Tier Celebration Cake

This cake was for a giant celebration for a lot of milestone birthdays.  30, 40, 50, 60, and 70!  All in one big extended family!  I delivered to the Urban Onion and the party was up in the ballroom. So much fun!  The base tier was chocolate cake with chocolate-hazelnut cream filling, the middle two tiers were key lime cake with vanilla cream filling, and the top tier was chocolate cake with a swirl of chocolate and vanilla buttercream for the filling.  This cake is my small 4-tier size, a 12" base with 9", 6", and 4" tiers on top of that.  I also created the topper.  The cake was made to coordinate with these party supplies:

I made another cake like this a year or two ago for the same family and same situation, a celebration for a 40th, 50th, and 60th birthday.  Check out that 3-tier cake HERE!  Anne, I can't thank you enough for all your fun cake orders.  You are great!!

I made these simple pink lemonade cupcakes and toppers to go with a hip-hop birthday party with a Shake it Up party theme (pictured below).  Happy Birthday, Lilly!

Infinity Symbol Wedding Cake

For this small wedding cake, I was asked to incorporate the infinity symbol around the top tier and use ribbon around the bottom tier and to keep it very simple.  It was yellow cake with chocolate cream filling, all frosted and decorated with vanilla buttercream.

Such a fun order to do!  This cupcakes were created to match the ones in the children's book titled, Pinkalicious.  They are pink lemonade cupcakes with vanilla buttercream, cherries, and sprinkles!  Thank you, Mr. Heinz, for another order for your sweet granddaughter!

Jake and the Neverland Pirate Ship Cake #2

Another order for a Jake and the Neverland Pirate Ship cake.  All of my cakes are unique so there are some differences between this one and the first one I created...  This was chocolate cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream (and some chocolate buttercream too, I think). I handcrafted the sails and crow's nest with cardstock.  The characters were all purchased by the customer.

Perry the Platypus Cake

Perry the Platypus from Disney's cartoon Phineas and Ferb.  I've never watched the show, but did recognize this silly character.  This is an orange creamsicle cake frosted anddecorated with buttercream.  Thanks for the order, Joy!

Digger - Dumper Cake #2

I made a cake like this for my son's birthday a year ago and had a customer request one for her own little boy.  Crushed chocolate Oreo cookies and chocolate rocks help set the scene!  Very simple to do, and she added her own digger toys.

Beautiful Birthday Cake for a Golfer

My lovely friend, Julia, threw a surprise birthday party for her mother who loves to golf.  She asked that I create something beautiful, but pull in a golf theme as well.  I decided to use a beautiful pastel green and blue for the perfectly smooth buttercream finish and fresh hydrangeas from my garden.  A little silver ribbon added some sparkle, and the golf theme literally topped it off.  This was a vanilla cake with pistachio cream filling - and I received many compliments how beautiful and delicious it was!!

Sully - Monsters U Cake

Flash on or off?
I can't ever decide...

This fun Monsters, Inc. Sully cake was for a special little guy's 8th birthday celebration.  Sully is his favorite character from the new Monsters U movie. Thanks for another order, Heather!
