Rainbow Dot Cake for Brooklyn

I was very excited for this cake for my amazing friend's little girl on her 1st birthday.  It was a rainbow theme with lots of sweets - such a cute party.  I made a vanilla confetti cake for both tiers - one tier had raspberry filling and the other had banana cream filling (if I recall correctly).  Happy Birthday, Brooklyn!!

Peanut Butter Cup Cake

Yum, Yum!  Kind of wanted to keep this one to eat!  This is a chocolate cake with peanut butter cream filling and frosted with chocolate buttercream.  A fun birthday cake for a guy who loves his peanut butter cups.

Multicolor Unfrosted Cake

This request was for the cake to have multicolored layers of cake with no frosting around the outer edges.  It was vanilla cake with raspberry and buttercream filling in between.  I also did the banner for the party.  The customer shared her inspiration images below, and she was going to add some horses with a fence on the top.  (The "cake" below was actually rice krispy treats, which my customer did not want.)

Orange Circles Cake

I wanted to try out a new pattern in a fun bright color.  This was a cake I donated for a bakesale.  Unfortunately - I cannot remember the flavor!  oops!

Ty's First Birthday Cake

My sweet nephew, Ty, turned one a couple weeks ago.  I made a small three-tier cake, which is a standard sized two tier with a mini cake on top.  The mini cake was for Ty to enjoy by himself!  I did a chocolate cake with chocolate cream frosting for the bottom tier.  The top two tiers were carrot cake with cream cheese filling.  The whole cake was frosted and decorated with my standard vanilla-almond buttercream.  I made a banner for the party as well.  Happy 1st Birthday, Ty-Ty!!

Dinosaur Train Cake & Cupcake Display

This cake and cupcake display was decorated to match the customer's Dinosaur Train party supplies.  It was a chocolate cake with coconut-pecan filling and the cupcakes were yellow cake with maple frosting.  I also decorated the cupcake display stand.  The cake was later topped with a train from the party supplies and a number 4 candle.

Black & White Beauty Queen Cake

This was a celebration cake for a former Mrs. Washington as she celebrated her 20th year as director for the Mrs. Washington Pageant.  She requested something elegant, black & white, with a few touches of red and some red roses.  I had fun with the design and was please how it turned out.  It was a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and buttercream frosting.  Fresh red roses topped it off.  Congratulations on all your success, Pam!
