A special little lady turned 5 this week and wanted a tie-dye cake for her party. This was simply a vanilla cake with vanilla cream filling. I also dyed the cake batter a few different colors and swirled them together a little bit, so when cut into the cake was just as colorful as the frosting. All is frosted, of course, with buttercream.
