Motorcycle Helmet Birthday Cake

This fun cake was for a little guy turning two who loves to wear his motorcycle helmet all the time!  It's a chocolate cake with vanilla cream filling and buttercream frosting.  His dad shared the picture of his helmet that I used for inspiration.

Animal Parade1st Birthday Cake

This cake was made to match the Animal Parade party collection by Meri Meri.  The bottom tier was vanilla cake with raspberry filling, and the top two tiers were vanilla cake with banana cream filling.  Thanks for another order, Marta!

Girly Fashionista Cake

Customer request for a girly-fashionista type cake meaning makeup, jewelry, leopard print, pinks and purples.  This is what I created!  The flavor is my Neapolitan combination: strawberry cake, chocolate cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting.  This one is also covered in sugar crystals on the top - every girly cake needs some sparkle!  Happy birthday, Bella!

Baby Shower Cake for Stephanie

I had a request for an elegant baby shower cake with white, peaches and pinks.  So this is what I came up with - the ruffles did make it a little more "cutesy" than I intended, but I still think it's very pretty.  The bottom tier is pink lemonade cake with vanilla cream filling, the top tier is orange creamsicle.  All is frosted with vanilla buttercream.  Congratulations, Stephanie!  I can't wait to meet baby Vivienne!

Baptism Cake for Ty

My nephew, Ty, was baptized on Sunday so I made this cake for the celebration.  It was an orange creamsicle cake with buttercream frosting.

Underwater / Snorkeling Baby Shower Cake

Here's a cute little theme for a baby shower!  The customer shared the image of the invitation with me and I went from there.  The bottom tier of this under-the-sea cake is coconut cake with coconut cream filling and the top tier is orange creamsicle (orange cake with vanilla cream filling).  All frosted with vanilla buttercream and a few touches of coconut buttercream.  The seashells are vanilla candy melts and I also made the topper to match.  I thought this theme could also be so cute for a 1st birthday.

Baseball Birthday Cake

Last minute cake order for one of my best customers.  This cake is for a baseball player turning 30 this weekend.  It's a vanilla-chocolate marble cake with vanilla cream filling and chocolate cream filling.  Frosted with vanilla buttercream, custom topper to match.

Cinco de Mayo Birthday Cake

This fun cake is for a Cinco de Mayo 21st birthday celebration.  The cake is chocolate with coconut cream filling and coconut buttercream.  The limes on top are filled with tequila-lime Jell-O shots.  I also made the topper.  I was excited to have artistic freedom on this one as I have been wanting to do some form of a ruffle cake.  All these colorful ruffles remind me of a beautiful mexican dress and also kind of make me think of all the paper ruffles on a pinata.  Happy Birthday, Janice!  Have fun tonight!

Sesame Street Elmo Cake

This 8-inch round birthday cake is for a little lady who loves Elmo!  It's a strawberry cake with chocolate cream filling and buttercream frosting. The Elmo topper is made of paper, but the balloons are vanilla candy pops.  Happy Birthday, Teagin!
